WELCOME TO A NEW VISION OF STORYTELLING

FROM THE DESK OF THE SENIOR PUBLISHER
ADRIANA HERNANDEZ
Hello!
Rebvelandote Magazine is an extraordinary project that together with my colleague and Associate Publisher, Yeni Guerrero, created in order to bring you quality bilingual reading. Our sole intention is not only informing you about current events, but also as a point of support to deal with issues and situations that many do not dare to talk about but are relevant.

To that point, we merged two keywords in the name of our publication: Rebelándote (Rebelling) + Revelándote (Revealing). The first word means resist, lift, and rise. The second word means to discover, make visible, and reveal something. Fused together, these words create a vital meaning and are necessary in our lives to be triumphant.

Rebvelandote, is not trying to be just ONE Magazine, but THE Magazine. We intend to be distinguished among other publications not only for its extraordinary presentation, but also for its content, which we have been cautious in our selection process. Along with our Editor in Chief Marie Lemelle and our team, we have the task of selecting amazing people willing to provide vital and quality reading, not only to impact the lives of our readers, but to affect them positively. Our purpose is to effect change!

We cordially invite you to be part of our new readers network and begin an exciting journey of personal transformation. And now that you have this publication at your fingertips, you have an incredible opportunity to create a better version of you.

From the Rebvelandote team to you, we welcome you and are very excited to witness your metamorphosis!

Welcome to Rebvelandote!
It is with great pride to join forces with Senior Publisher Adriana Hernandez and Co-Publisher Yeni Guerrero to bring you a game-changing publication designed to celebrate the roots of our diversity and address the needs of a resilient population.
The long journey to bring the dream of producing a magazine is never easy. The world of publishing can be complicated and challenging. “Con el tiempo todo se consigue,” which translates to, “In time, everything is acquired.” I like to say, “With patience, the best of everything is yet to come.”
Rebvelandote is for you and about you. Every month, we intend to entertain, inform, and enlighten you.
As we are all experiencing, the coronavirus pandemic has been a disruption to our daily routine and for many an unbelievable roadblock to the progressive of our lives. Roadblocks or obstacles should not be the end of the journey for your goals and dreams but only a temporary detour to reach your greatness.
We should take a chapter out of our history and remember how our ancestors and leaders before us have endured a harsh life and never gave up. They showed us how to navigate unspeakable injustices and build a strong and determined mindset to adjust to our circumstances, survive against all odds, and thrive.
My family is Louisiana French Creole and raised Catholic. What is a Creole? It is a multi-racial population from descendants of French, Native American, African, Spanish, or Portuguese settlers from France, the West Indies, and Latin America. I stand on the shoulders of those who paved the way for me to contribute to society and be an integral part of the conversation to make a difference in the world.
A powerful statement hangs on my wall. “Before a great vision can become reality there must be difficulty. Before a person begins a great endeavor, they may encounter chaos. As a new plant breaks the ground with great difficulty, foreshadowing the huge tree, so must we sometimes push against difficulty in bringing forth our dreams. Out of Chaos, Brilliant Stars are Born.”
For me, that says it all.
I live by the African proverb, ‘If you want to go quickly, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.” We want to hear from you, send ideas to our social media, and tell us how we can better serve you. These are challenging times, but we are in this together.
Stay Safe and Best wishes,
Marie
